Cartmel Valley
Cartmel village is located in the Lake District Peninsulas. The village is now acclaimed as one of the best villages in Cumbria and the Lake District.
The Medieval village of Cartmel has a rich heritage. The historic 12th century priory, the steeplechase racecourse and its Michelin starred restaurants to name but a few.
Cartmel Valley with its gentle undulating landscape also has a milder, drier climate than the rest of the Lake District.
