The cottage was fabulous for the 8 of us. It was beautifully presented and so spacious with our own bathrooms! The location was amazing and the river in spate was thrilling.
The children also had a great time.
Your recommendations were excellent. The Farmers Arms was very good ( a local pub with delicious food) but our favourite without a doubt was the Manor House Inn. We have never seen such enormous Yorkshire puddings for Sunday lunch! All 8 of us enjoyed the meal.
We will certainly use Holiday Cottages Cumbria again if this is the standard we can expect – Gordon Ferguson, Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire
